    Nainital to Kasauni ( Via Jageshwar )

    Depart for Kasauni (112 km - 4 hrs). Kausani (6500+ ft asl) is a Himalayan hamlet and is renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views (Oct-March). Enroute visitors can visit the Jageshwar Shiva Temple complex (requires a 30 km one-way detour). Jageshwar is thought to be the web page of the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas.     Patal Bhubaneshwar

    Day visit to Patal Bhubneshwar (36 km, 1.5 hours one-way). Patal Bhubaneshwar is a cave temple. It is assumed that underground cave enshrines Lord Shiva and 33 crore Gods.
