After reaching mini-market, we will start hiking on the cemented trail from the Welcome Gate.
After some time we will reach a small temple of Nag Devta. Now, after five mins of the hike, the path changes to a rocky one full of unfastened rocks.
As we hike towards Nag Tibba Summit Pantwari Village and the Farmlands are visible below.
The connecting Nag Tibba ridge lies in front. Climb the hill and attain a water point, the water right here is secure to drink. The incredible sights which the trial offers will amaze you.
Now, we will enter the “Pravesh Dwar”; “Welcome Gate of Nag Tibba" and start hiking through the forest section.
You can found plenty of Rhododendron (Burans) here and its squash is very famous because it's miles very useful in treating blood pressure.
The zig-zag path is steep with many unfastened rocks.
There are several shortcuts that look similar and lead to the Khathiyan camp but do not follow these shortcuts and leave the group as there is a chance to get lost in the forest.
After 15 mins, We will reach a small clearing and from here you can recognize your campsite.
After reaching there, have luxurious food, we will camp here. Overnight stay at camp
Wake up early today because we have to cover a long distance, have mild breakfast, and get ready for the adventure.
Hike through the densely forested area, in winter this area gets tough because the heavy snow makes the path hard to identify. We will reach at the Nag Tibba Base Camp within 1 hour by crossing some steep ascents gradually.
It is an extensive clearing and a temple is located there devoted to Snake God “Nag Devta”. the local villagers worship Nag Devi for the safety of their farm animals and a “Bhagwat” organized every year here in which “Chief Minister" is invited and nearly 10,000 humans attend.
Now, a 1.5 km hike from Base Camp to Nag Tibba Summit which could be very steep through the thick forest area. The snow makes the climb hard in winter.
The path is straight and you can reach the summit in 1 or 1 and a half hours of climbing depending upon the conditions.
The Summit is called Nag Tibba, there is a flag “Jhandi” on the summit.
Experience remarkable views of high Himalayan ranges like Swargarohini, Bandar pooch, Srikanta, Kala Naag, Gangotri, and snow peaks of Changabang. Spend an excellent time there and start the steep descent trek by following the same path to reach Pantwari.
